Visiting Bishops House

Bishops' House We are sorry to announce that, in response to the situation with covid19 and in line with government advice to avoid unnecessary travel and contact,  we are temporarily suspending public opening of Bishops' House and events.

Please check back here before your planned visit as the house is very occasionally closed for part of the day, e.g. due to weddings.

Admission is Free!

If driving to Bishops' House, please aim for Lees Hall Ave, Sheffield S8 9NA

Being located at the top of Meersbrook Park makes it a convenient stopping off point for walkers following the Sheffield Round Walk.  Parents might want to combine the children's playground or all weather sports ground at Meersbrook Park into the mix too.

If you need to work out bus routes check the link below, but bear in mind that these routes will tend to take you to Norton Lees Lane.  This is right next to the house, but the buses are less frequent here.  If you can manage a walk up through the park you'll find more regular buses traveling to Heeley Retail Park and you can then walk up Beeton Road and through Meersbrook Park.
